Windows 95 ---------- To install the animation drivers onto a system running Windows 95, you must go to Add New Hardware in Control Panel. Choose No when Windows asks whether to search for new hardware. Choose type "Sound, Video, and Game controllers". Click "Have Disk..." and then browse to the directory: [CD-Drive]:\anidrv\ Choose the file oemsetup.inf and click OK. That directory should appear in the dialog box, and then click OK, then OK. Then click Finish to start the installation of files. Click OK when prompted by the animation installation. Then Windows will tell you that you need to reboot. Do so. Unfortunately, Windows 95 does not make all the necessary changes. The file [windows]\win.ini must be edited for the animations to work. Add the following lines beneath the [mci extensions] heading: flc=Animation1 fli=Animation1 aas=Animation1 Now Windows should know how to play flc animations, and the program should work fine. Windows 3.1 ----------- To install under Windows 3.1, choose Drivers from the Control Panel, then Add, then "Unlisted or Updated". Then browse to the directory: [CD-Drive]:\anidrv\ And click OK. The driver should appear, and you can click OK to install it.
